Dr Saroja Gunasekera is a clinical GP, medical educator, and life coach and counsellor in Bulli, Illawarra.

In her clinical practice, Saroja is passionate about providing comprehensive, personalised, and holistic medical care to patients and their families, and is committed to developing patients’ understanding of health and wellbeing.

Between 2003-2012, she balanced her clinical work alongside her role as Director of GP Education and Training for Illawarra, and she continues to work with medical students and junior doctors in training.

She has also extended her expertise in mentoring in her private business PrajJa Conversations, a professional coaching and counselling service she provides colleagues and other professionals in addition to her general practice mental health work. She offers a conversational, wisdom-based humanist model, using guided conversations to engage clients’ reflections and insight.
