Teah is a Victorian GP who splits her time between practicing in Lara and working as Head of School for Notre Dame Medical School (Melbourne). With a background in neonatal and paediatric care as well as women’s health and shared antenatal care, she has combined her clinical experience with her lived experience of raising a son in the diaspora to found Losika Writes. This pet project aims to increase the availability of afro-linguistically diverse preschool literature.
About once a month, she can be heard on the radio with Richelle Hunt on ABC Melbourne 774, covering a wide array of subjects including medical topics. Teah is also an RACGP OSCE examiner.
